"Some time ago, Rebecca took a look at the the branding of our Sports Club. I have to be honest, I am not a graphics person, and was apprehensive - I wasn't sure what the point was and was worried I might be in for a buzzword filled exercise in not achieving real progress. I hate wasting time. Rebecca immediately found some things that were missing (eg. a logo, brand guidelines), figured out some ways to get them sorted. At the time, we just went for the logo - reasoning we'd only need the brand guidelines once we grew. With our input and brainstorming, we created our logo that I now feel can be described as "iconic". It's distinctive, truly representative and well recognised and regarded.

The experience was so reassuring, and so as we grew and it became clear we needed better visual style and guidelines, we came back to Rebecca to help complete the picture. We now have beautiful brand guidelines that we can give to freelancers and volunteers. We now have a visual identity we can use across all our stuff - physical products, email, social media branding, printed media and to guide our website design and we are in a much better place thanks to Rebecca's supportive help. I've been a complete novice through this process, and with Rebecca there to guide me, it's been a no-nonesense, "let's just get this done" project that's reassured me that we're not going over the top or speaking empty buzzword spaghetti - just getting stuff done that makes a real difference to our club.
In short:
1) Avoid visual mess
2) Get Rebecca to help you."
