Clients, August 2023
August was a bit more chilled for me as many clients in the education, charity and youth sectors take a well-earned summer break so I took the opportunity to have a little break myself as well as work on some of my own business admin. I finished working with Z-arts and Big Imaginations, though the latter immediately asked me back to work on a big piece of design work which is really exciting. I also spoke to three new possible clients. So, September looks like it could be a brilliantly busy one! But for now, here is August’s round up…
Lancaster Jazz Festival
Lancaster jazz Festival is only a week away now so it’s been all go behind the scenes on this project. Tons of design, flyer and content creation as well as copywriting, social media scheduling and audience engagement. A flyer for their conference day was a particularly enjoyable challenge and I’ll be sharing a time-lapse of this design process and what made it such a meaty project on Instagram and LinkedIn next week |
Big Imaginations
My contract with Big Imaginations ended in August but less than a week went by before they asked me back to work on a new project. All will be revealed soon! "I have absolutely loved working with Rebecca, no job too big or too small. Gained a really good understanding of the organisation and projects we are delivering quickly. Rebecca works really fast and asks brilliant questions that really help make everything clearer. A great writer, designer, thinker - I am really sad that I can't have a Rebecca all the time! Thanks for being super brilliant, responsive, flexible and all round fabulous." Zoe Pickering, Head of Programming and Big Imaginations Manager |
White Tiger Chronicles
Work continues on this book series promotion with August being very behind the scenes while I concentrate on the website build. Though I’ll soon be creating content to promote it online too, once the author sends over the images and text that I need… Naming no names Nigel! |
The Horsfall at 42nd Street
My permanent client, art gallery and creative space The Horsfall is part of the wider 42nd Street young person’s mental health charity and regularly have incredible events, workshops and exhibitions. This month has been a continuation of their branding re-design and new website build. As well as capturing and sharing content from their Manchester Pride parade which resulted in some truly lovely and joyous photos |
